Uber Rang 2016
In the evening of 23rd January 2016, Mahatma Education Society organised the fundraiser talent show, UBER RANG. As in the past few years, Uber Rang 2016 witnessed a galaxy of performances from over 200 students showcasing the different forms of dance and art. UBER RANG is the MES annual talent show wherein the students deliver an amazing lineup of acts and performances! Every year, students from across more than forty MES institutions work together to create a dazzling display of youth talent. All the surplus generated through this fundraiser UBER RANG festivities is donated to mitigate the expenses of Community Service Day UBER RANG gives students a vital platform to explore and showcase their endless skills and talents to an appreciative audience. While being entertaining for all, UBER RANG fulfils both purposes of funding the activities associated with Community Service Day and nurturing talent within the student community.
The three member jury consisted of Mr. Ygesh Patkar, Founder of the Dance Academy, Pacemaker4U, Ms. Munawira Kotyad, Head of Research HOC and Ms. Diya Rai, model and actor. The three hour event was a huge success as over 150 students showcased their multifaceted talent to a packed audience of over 1000 faculty, parents & students. The performances ranged from skits, singing and dancing to group performances in various forms viz. Indian fusion, western dance, classical performances, folk dances, band music etc. The winners were given trophies and cash prizes. The students of Mahatma School of Academics and Sports hosted the show.
