Community Service Day 2014
Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai Group of Institutions celebrated Community Service Day on 25th January, 2014 at Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai Campus, New Panvel. One of the key goals of Mahatma Education Society has been to expand our community service activitites on a massive scale to help us reach out to many underprivileged people in our society and also inculcate a sense of pride among our students and faculty members in serving the less fortunate in society.
To celebrate Community Service Day this year, we invited over 700 residents of twenty NGO’s to the Panvel Campus and organized a day long activity for them including lunch, games, music and dance and fun activities followed by an inter institutional talent show put up by the students of Mahatma Education Society titled “UBER RANG”. We continue to stay connected with these organizations and nurture them at an institutional level year after year to improve their quality of life.
